Fandomedia is the second in a series of small social conventions, currently held in Perth, Western Australia. Fandomedia 2006 is run under the WA Science Fiction Foundation (WASFF).
The focus for the convention this year is a little deeper, a little darker. While there is a slant towards science fiction, fantasy and speculation, we are focusing on the exploration 'Hunger' in as many facets as possible, everything from food, lust, greed and addiction to vampirism, identity, and wanting to change the world. We aim to provide a social space where you will find interesting conversations and workshops, with guests that are engaging and enjoyable company. We promote a friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome to join in and be a part of the fun.

Last message from me before the convention starts tomorrow afternoon! Wow! I can't believe that the time has finally arrived!
For those interested, there is a meet and greet at 4.30pm in the bar, and then after dinner at 7pm is the Official Opening, kicking everything off.
